Comfort Inn & Suites West Chester - North Cincinnati

I will never stay at this Comfort Inn again. The room smelled strange, was dusty and poorly cleaned, and the toilet barely seemed to have been cleaned. Snacks were left on the floor and looked like they might have been tampered with. Housekeeping went through our clothes, which was none of their business. Staff at the front desk were unfriendly and unprofessional, and we were told to wait until 3 p.m. to check in. There's only one washer and one dryer, so laundry is difficult. The breakfast was awful and tasted funny, especially the coffee. If you want a great hotel, I'd go to Homewood Suites or Home 2 Suites instead.

In the bathroom, the trash was still full of a previous guest's rubbish, including an exposed, used dirty pad. Then, as I closed the shower curtain, a dirty used rag fell on me from the curtain bar. I was there only 30 minutes when this happened. The room wasn't cleaned properly at all, and it was disgusting and unacceptable. It was also too warm, and the thermostat screen was blank so I couldn't change the temperature. We had a very uncomfortable warm night. I'm very dissatisfied, won't stay here again when I'm back in the area, and wouldn't recommend it.

The bed was the best part for me. The sheets and blankets were incredibly soft and silky, maybe the nicest I've slept on, and the firm bed was still really comfortable, stayed fairly cool, and had no springs poking at my side. The pillows were fluffy and delightful too. My king room had simple, sweet decor, a working mini fridge that didn't smell odd, and a microwave with rather loud beeps. The bathroom was nice. Breakfast had a variety, though I'm not a breakfast person so can't speak to its quality. The pool was a pleasant temperature, and the small gym was pretty well equipped. The man who checked me in was kind, as was the woman who sort of checked me out.

For a one-night stop while passing through, this place was okay. The front desk person was really nice, and our room seemed clean with an updated bathroom. The jetted tub was a nice surprise, though we didn't use it. The elevator was awful. They said there was construction on the third floor, and the stairwell looked freshly updated and very nice. I hope they'll renovate the rooms to match the bathroom and stairwell.
