Best Western Plus West Covina Inn

The breakfast was genuinely good, and there was plenty of space to eat there or take it back to my room. Staff were friendly and did what they could to accommodate me and my service animal. The room was among the cleanest motel rooms I've seen in a long time.

The pool area was freezing, and the hot tub wouldn't turn on. When we asked the front desk, they couldn't say when it would be fixed. The hot breakfast selection was very limited and not very good. The room itself was okay, so the stay was alright, though I expected more from a Best Western Plus. If you just need somewhere to sleep and don't care about extras, it works. For about the same price, though, you can find a place with better amenities.

I tested the water from the bottle filling station and got a reading of 248, so it seemed just like tap water. The station in the fitness center was cold and read 058, almost zero, if you know what that means. On our last stay, both AC filters were dirty too. What really bothered me was being charged after checkout over trash. No one called our room to tell us to collect and throw it out before leaving, so we had no idea it was a problem. I hope that $100 was worth losing a regular weekly visitor.

The beds were so comfortable, and the room felt cozy and homey. Staff were sweet and friendly, and it was easy to walk to groceries and food. I felt safe and have no complaints about the property.
