Travelodge by Wyndham Cape Cod Area

We paid just $65 for a room with a queen bed, so it was very budget-friendly. I’m not sure what other motels or inns cost, but for that price the location was great. The rooms are very well designed and managed, and felt amazingly welcoming. Five stars from me. Strongly recommend.

For what we paid, this hotel was very good. We got a cheap rate for our April stay. The room was basic but completely adequate, with a comfortable bed and an extra blanket. The man at the desk was friendly and put us in the room right in front of the parking spot I’d pulled into.

I can’t recommend this place. I stayed here with family about 15 years ago, when it was an okay no-frills motel. This visit disappointed me. It’ll do for a night when you just need somewhere to sleep in a pinch, but it was overpriced for what it provides. The desk clerk was very pleasant and helpful. I didn’t see any other staff, so I can’t say anything about housekeeping. The location is great, and there’s plenty of room for improvement. The included breakfast was awful. A thermos of coffee, one of hot water, tea bags, powdered creamer, and cellophane-wrapped “pastries” are what I expect at a highway rest stop or gas station, not at a motel advertising breakfast. They should stop serving it or arrange for a local bakery or coffee shop to stock a proper continental breakfast bar.
