This stay was much better, thanks to a professional and courteous man at the desk. He gave me a room with a refrigerator and offered a discount on my next stay. He was very good at his job. My first visit was uncomfortable and irritating. The woman working then had no etiquette or customer service training. She coughed all over everything without covering her mouth or turning away, including my ID, the keyboard, and the receipt. She also put me in a room without a refrigerator. When I asked for a room with one, she lied and said nothing could be done.

The room was embarrassingly disgusting. The sink was rusty and dirty, the tub was nasty, the windows looked like they'd never been cleaned, and the walls were covered in stains. The place as a whole was filthy and barely holding together. I know it's a budget motel, but they don't even try. Breakfast was stale cereal, toast, and expired juice and milk. When I mentioned it, they did nothing and got rude. The first thing you see is a broken front door propped open with tape over the lock, so anyone can walk into the hotel whenever they want. There's never anyone at the front desk. You have to call a number and wait forever for someone to show up, and then they barely say two words to you. There are no elevators, and they don't tell you or put up any signs about it before you arrive. I left my Leatherman in the room, and they claimed they hadn't found it. They didn't know I was bilingual. While on the phone with me, I heard them say “ya, I found it but I kept it” in Spanish, then they denied saying that when I called them out. That shows what kind of people run this place. I asked for a refund and was told no, so now I'm taking this to corporate. This is an embarrassment to the franchise. I understand it's a budget motel, but they should at least care about the facility.

I won't stay there again because the room was so unclean. There were hairs everywhere, and the plastic info card had sticky stuff on it with a hair stuck there too. The staff weren't very friendly. She put my room on a card without asking. I wanted to pay cash, and she usually should ask, but I didn't want to wait for a refund.

The room was supposed to be accessible, but my 82-year-old mother had to sleep in the office chair for two nights. We had to buy her a toilet seat riser so she could use the bathroom.
