The place looks beautifully designed, but the service so far has been disorganized and inattentive. We’re only 24 hours into a weeklong stay, and for this price I expected more. After a long day of travel, we paid $75 a night for valet. The person who took my keys disappeared, and another employee eventually stepped in. When I asked for help with our bags, he said there wasn’t a bellman and I could take a cart myself. I loaded everything, then struggled to get the oversized cart through a narrow doorway while he watched without even holding the door. Breakfast was another letdown. My partner’s meal arrived about 20 minutes before mine, and she’d finished before my food showed up. We’d taken the food outside ourselves, yet a large service charge was still added automatically. I had to go inside and ask about the delay. Several employees were behind the counter, but apparently no one had noticed it.

The people made our stay. My family and I felt looked after the whole time, thanks to staff who were friendly, helpful, and welcoming, from the valet to housekeeping. I also loved the live plants in our room. Such a thoughtful touch, and they made the space feel calm and alive.

The room was spotless, luxurious, and beautifully put together. All the little details seemed cared for, and it felt comfortable and relaxing. The restaurant served delicious food with excellent service, and I enjoyed the spa just as much. The treatments helped make the stay even more comfortable. From arrival on, the staff were kind, professional, and attentive. They were easy to reach and seemed genuinely happy to help. This was one of the most amazing hotels I’ve stayed in, and I’ll definitely be looking forward to coming back.

The rooms are nice, and the hotel seems well managed, though the building feels a bit cramped. The little pool is there if you really need one. What I liked most was the downstairs lobby. It has that familiar 1hotel feel where you just want to hang out. This one has the same vibe as the others.

A+ Maya really made this stay stand out. She was professional and attentive, but also warm and personable, and every conversation felt genuine. She made sure I had what I needed and helped me feel comfortable and cared for. The rest of the team helped make the visit memorable too. The hotel itself has a welcoming, stylish feel, and the design details are lovely. It was relaxing from the moment I arrived. I had an amazing time at 1 Hotel West Hollywood and will absolutely be back.
