Tru by Hilton West Memphis, AR

I loved the reading nooks in the lobby and the little whiteboards by the elevators with nearby activities and restaurant ideas. They're easy for guests to see as they come and go, and a great idea, especially since local suggestions aren't always helpful when we ask where to eat. The room was neat and very clean, the bed was comfortable, and breakfast was good with hot, clean food. The front desk team were friendly at both check-in and check-out. Of the hotels we stayed at between Indiana and Texas, this one had the friendliest staff and was the best. Loved it!

My first stay at Tru was this past weekend, and the room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were excellent, breakfast was great, and I had a very good stay overall. The only trouble was the check-in. I requested an early arrival and was told to call two hours before check-in to see if the room was ready. I called three times, but didn't get early check-in. Then I checked in through the Hilton app 30 minutes before the scheduled time, chose my room and floor, and was told my digital key would arrive in 20 minutes. The app says online check-in lets you skip the front desk, but I still had to go there for a room key. The digital key didn't show up until I'd already been in my room for half an hour. Even with that hassle, I recommend staying here.

The hotel was in a great spot on my route to Chicago, and Memphis was only 15 minutes away. Even though I arrived late, the front desk staff member was helpful. The room felt both spacious and cozy, and the beds were comfortable. The AC leaked a little, but breakfast was nutritious and healthy. One of the best hotels I've stayed at, especially for the value. I recommend it.

It was very quiet, which was perfect for our two dogs. The pool was heated and super clean, though I wish they had bigger towels there. We had a few small hiccups with the room, but the staff impressed us by handling everything quickly and going above and beyond. The hotel was friendly, helpful, and very clean, and our room was comfortable too.
