Comfort Inn Pensacola near NAS Corry Station

The lobby market is well stocked, with plenty of food choices and hygiene items in case you forgot something. The staff have been helpful and professional whenever I've stayed here, and housekeeping and maintenance have both been quick and dependable. You can see the property is being renovated, and the improvements are looking good. Management seems to be putting effort and money back into the place. It's comfortable, clean, and well run, and I'd recommend it.

The hotel was in a convenient spot and felt safe during our stay for the mardi grass parade. Breakfast was very average, though. The sausage was undercooked, and refills came really late, so on the second and third mornings we went elsewhere to eat. We also waited about 10 minutes at the front desk for our receipt because the breakfast worker was the only person working then. Nothing spectacular.

Breakfast was the highlight for us, with omelettes, biscuits and gravy, sausage patties, bread, bagels, waffles, apples, yogurt, coffee and tea. It was delicious. We also really liked our clean, spacious room, and the beds and pillows were comfortable.

We stayed because it was a holiday and there weren't many options, but I wish we'd left. The second room was dirty when we arrived, and nobody cleaned it during our five-day stay. I had to buy supplies and scrub the bathroom myself because someone else's bodily fluids were still visible in the toilet. My brother's room next door had the same problems, and he had to switch rooms too. The first room was extremely humid, with wallpaper peeling and what clearly looked like mold behind it. The replacement was humid too, though I couldn't see mold there. The air conditioners didn't work properly, and every door had a 1-2 inch gap underneath, letting you see right into the hallway. Pests could move through, and we saw a palmetto bug in the hall. Breakfast was the only okay part.
