There was no phone in my room, and it sounded like I was in an apartment with the guest upstairs stomping day and night. The bathroom tissue holder, with its new roll, was on the floor, and the desk chair smelled strongly of old urine. There was feces on the wall too. I reported it to the front desk, and the room was cleaned the next day. Two days later, while trying to chart, the chair still smelled so bad I had to move. They apparently just sprayed air freshener on it. I'd already tried Lysol, which didn't help. Rooms aren't being inspected after cleaning, so what's the point of having an inspector? This happens often at Hampton/Hilton properties.

The rooms were clean, and I had a very good two-day stay. Breakfast was decent too.

The room felt dated for what it cost. Traveling with my pet added $70. The TRU by Hilton in Tupelo had a much better room and was $80 cheaper. Staff and location were great, though.
