Riverdale Inn

We were there only about 3 or 4 hours before finding roaches. The place also had a strong, strange smell of cigarettes and cigars. I showed the front desk attendant a video of the roaches, but nothing was done. She was rude and offered only a room change or leaving. When we asked for a refund, she said we'd still be charged a $100 fee. Nasty place.

The room smelled awful, and we found live roaches on sticky paper. There were beds stored in the kitchen where breakfast was supposed to be. We packed up, asked for our money back, and left. It's nasty. Don't rent here.

I wouldn't stay here again, and the conditions felt far below what the nightly price suggests. The room was dusty and dirty, with damaged walls, furniture, and other rundown areas. It was meant to be non-smoking, yet the carpet had burn marks. There was no shampoo, and the cleaning staff had done an awful job. At check-in, the receptionist complained that she was tired and wanted to go home, and was very unfriendly. I'm extremely disappointed and want a refund for the misleading listing and poor conditions. This place should get negative stars and be shut down by the health department and city.

I left after finding roaches. For a place advertised as non-smoking, it smelled like an ashtray. The conditions were unacceptable, but they refused to refund me or make things right. I didn't stay the night. Terrible all around, 0/100, don't stay here.
