The area around the motel is clean and beautiful. The room is dated, but I'm not too picky, and it did what I needed for a day: I slept decently and had a fabulous shower. The hot water was a real plus. I'd recommend it if a decent night's sleep is what you're after.

It's expensive for what's here. The woman didn't believe the quoted price when we told her, called someone, then acted annoyed once she learned it was correct. The walls have been patched poorly, and the towel rack is hanging by a screw thread, so I was afraid to touch it. Cable has very few channels, and the bedside lamps don't work. Stay away if you can.

I canceled my reservation three weeks before the stay and was still charged. I booked through hotels.com, and this motel did not honor its cancellation policy. Don't book here through hotels.com.

The rooms could use updating, but it's good value for the cost. The people here care about the place.

The best part was waking up alive. This was the worst room I've ever stayed in. The rug was disgusting and smelled awful, the lampshades were torn, and the drawer handles were broken.
