I never got to see a room, so I can’t speak to its condition. I had a web reservation confirmation with a number, but when I arrived at 5 pm, I was told Elm Motel is a long-stay place and doesn’t accept web reservations. The manager said the website does issue reservations and email confirmation numbers, but she had no rooms to rent. I’d tried calling earlier to check my booking, but nobody answered. The whole experience was crazy, and I’d avoid this place.

I had a room for one person, and it was comfortable and clean. Everything worked, there were no bugs, and the manager was helpful and courteous. She gave me the same room each time I stayed. I’ll stay there again if I’m in the area.

The room was below par, with holes in the ceiling and flies coming up through the drains. If they fixed and updated the rooms while keeping the same clerk, they’d have a great hotel. The clerk was awesome, kind, and helpful.

We got a good price and got what we paid for. The room was clean and comfortable, with a king bed, mini-fridge, and flat-screen LED TV. It also had a back deck, which seemed to be the only one. Nothing fancy, but the carpet needs replacing because it had quite a few stains.

During our October 16 2021 stay, there were flies all over the room, and they crawled on us all night. There was no heat, and the front desk wasn’t friendly. We found a used bandaid between the bed and nightstand. Instead of turning on the heat, they gave us a space heater with no knob to control its temperature.
