Moose Creek Inn

This was a last-minute find, and the friendly staff were one of the best parts. They were genuinely interested in us and what we needed. Our second-floor king room was super clean, the bed was comfortable, and it had what we needed for a short stay. There was no closet or dresser, just two useful drawers under the bed. The location was great, about two minutes from the west gate to Yellowstone. I’d recommend it as a place to see the park from. For the north loop, though, I’d choose somewhere other than West Yellowstone, since getting back involves a lot of driving.

The bathroom was really tight, especially the shower and sink area, and the toilet was so low even though I’m only 5'3. Still, we enjoyed our stay. We had two downstairs rooms with king beds. When we first arrived I felt a bit nervous, but after checking in I realized I’d judged too quickly. The rooms were clean, the decor was cute, and the bed was comfortable. I forgot to take a bathroom picture.

Everything was immaculately clean, and the service in both the rooms and lobby was excellent and always available. The faux fireplace in our room added a nice ambiance and worked well as a night light. An excellent stay.

It was a decent, well-maintained place in a convenient location for getting around. The rooms have microwaves and refrigerators, which is a real plus. There was a selection of tea bags and hot chocolate, with cupcakes offered alongside. The town is pretty if you have time for a stroll. Keep an eye on traffic, since cars can pile up at the park entrance while people buy tickets.
