Sleepy Hollow Lodge

The cabin was VERY clean, nicely decorated, and had what I needed, including a microwave and mini fridge. They provided complimentary soap bars but no shampoo. I couldn’t quite figure out the heating system, or it may not have been working right. I’d still stay here again.

We found this little rustic cabin just right for a woodsy getaway. It had plenty of log cabin warmth and personality, and felt like home while keeping that old forest feel. The clean kitchen and bathroom were well stocked, though a bit dated. The beds were comfortable, the linens felt high quality and freshly washed, and the location made it easy to explore Yellowstone.

The area was quiet, there are dozens of restaurants within walking distance, and the bed was super comfortable. Our cabin was cozy and very clean, with everything working as it should. I’d been a little worried after reading reviews, but the customer service was great, and I learned the place is locally owned. If you want character and a good experience with the locals, this is a great spot.

We lost our money, but at least we found a clean hotel elsewhere and got a good night’s sleep. At 5 p.m. we had to track someone down to check in, and the room was shocking: filthy and badly in need of updating, with terrible lighting. It was so dirty we couldn’t stay. When we returned to check out, the office was locked again. We didn’t want to search for the owner a second time, so we left the key in the checkout box and went. I can’t see how it could pass a health inspection. Nothing seemed up to code.
