The room had no bugs and was clean, but it was extremely shabby and looked nothing like the photos. There were holes in the sheets, and despite being a non-smoking room it smelled like smoke. The pool was closed. They should post real pictures so people can decide whether they want to stay.

The staff were very friendly, which was the only real positive. The outlet by the coffee pot didn’t work, and because it’s beside the mirror I couldn’t see to style my hair. The bathroom door wouldn’t close, and someone had left a used washcloth on the shower curtain rod. It was noisy, with people playing TVs loudly and others constantly knocking on doors. The ice machine didn’t work, and despite what I’d read in reviews, they don’t serve breakfast. I added photos showing the bottom of the bathroom door that kept it from closing.

I now try to stay on weekdays because I miss the former front desk team, especially the calm, professional curly-haired gentleman and the tall weekday staff member who understood customer service. Their reliability made a real difference. I've been a regular since 2023, but lately the service has become inconsistent. The newer housekeeping couple hasn't been as effective, and cleanliness and responsiveness have slipped. I really miss the previous team, who were professional and dependable. Weekend desk service can be hard to rely on too. A newer staff member often misunderstands simple questions or gives the wrong answer, and the desk can seem unattended with just one person there. Sometimes I avoid going over at all. Late at night, a newer female employee often looks exhausted and sometimes seems to be dozing. I've also been told the hotel was full, only to have the front desk confirm the next morning that it wasn't. That's confusing and disappointing as a returning guest. I hope management pays closer attention to staffing, service, and training.

I came here at the last minute because my father-in-law was in the hospital fighting for his life. I had asked for a non-smoking room, but the one I got was filthy and had smoke damage. I arrived late and didn't raise it right away. When I did, he screamed that the mess was my fault. He wouldn't refund me or clean the room. I asked him to call the police, but he refused and said I couldn't go back into the room, then called them himself. The officers came and spoke with me. They asked why I was staying there. It's a hell hole. The online pictures are false and fabricated. The police asked staff to change the sheets so I could at least lie down, and that was all they did. The only good thing was that I didn't find anything crawling. Worst in every way, and it needs to be shut down immediately.
