Rodeway Inn Westminster West Of Boston

For the cheapest place in the area, this is a decent place to sleep. The beds are nice, the sink works, and the sheets and pillows were better than I expected. When I lay down, the room actually smelled clean. It is old, though, so don't expect new furniture unless you're willing to spend $300 a night or book an Airbnb. Everything around here is in the woods, so bugs are to be expected. I'm not talking bed bugs or an infestation, just the kind of bugs you might find in your own house. Constant fumigation isn't healthy.

This place was gross, and such a waste of time and money. Westminster is a cute little town, so it's sad to see the property getting so little care. The stay ended up costing over $100, but the heat and lamps were broken, and all they had for warmth was one tiny Conair space heater. The floors and surfaces were dirty, and a paper towel was wedged under a table leg to keep it balanced. I can't believe the condition of the rooms when free lamps, bedding, and curtains are available. I was exhausted, or I would've driven somewhere else. Next time I'll stay at Motel 6. Zero pride in this place.

The Patels really know how to make a guest feel welcome. Even though this is a budget brand, the service and attention felt like something you'd get at a much more expensive hotel. Check-in was quick and easy, helped along by a very happy, sweet woman. I felt cozy as soon as I walked in, and the place was managed so well that I almost felt like the only guest there. I'll stay here whenever I'm in the area.

The managers were lovely, friendly, and ready to help with anything our family needed during our week at Rodeway Inn. We appreciated the great price, too. The rooms are basic but very clean and comfortable, with a nice TV, small fridge, microwave, blow dryer, and iron. There's a pretty view out front, with outdoor chairs to sit in, and a large, beautiful garden visible from the back windows. Coffee and pastries were available in the office each morning.
