Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Wausau by IHG

Bonnie worked so hard to keep everything on track at breakfast, and she was warm and friendly the whole time. We love this hotel for its helpful staff, clean and roomy rooms, and very good breakfast. We’ll be back.

The kids had plenty of room to play with their toys in the living area, and the beds were comfortable. We booked so our little ones could swim without us having to hold them the whole time. The cousins loved the zero-entry pool, the slide, and playing together. Breakfast had lots to choose from, including oatmeal, cereal, the fun pancake machine, yogurt, milk, sausage, eggs, biscuits, and gravy. The dining space overlooks the pool and has comfortable seats. Staff were friendly and quickly sorted out our reservation after the Holiday Inn website confused the Rothschild location with Weston. We’ll definitely return.

The price was great, and the rooms were comfortable and clean. There’s a really good gym here, the best I’ve seen at a hotel in a while, especially for fitness fans. It has a pool, and it might have a hot tub or whirlpool too, but I didn’t see those.

I’ve stayed here twice now, and I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area. Both nights were quiet and relaxing. The room and facilities were very clean, the bathroom seemed newer, and the pool area has fitness facilities. Breakfast was the traditional complimentary Holiday Inn offering.
