Silver Sands Motel

We only stayed one night, but the room would have worked well for a longer visit too. Ours had a sofa, throw blanket, clothing rack, TV, and plenty of outlets. It was spacious, clean, bright, and cozy, with coffee and toiletries provided. Check-in and check-out were super easy, and the staff were friendly and helpful with our questions. It’s close to local coffee and breakfast spots, shops, and town attractions. Parking was easy and plentiful. There were lots of bugs around the outdoor lights at night, probably because the motel is near the water, but none came into our room. Smooth, welcoming stay, and I’d come back.

The place is clean and accommodating. There isn’t a crab boiler, but they do have a covered gas firepit with a BBQ. You can get to the waterfront or beach from here, though most people would need to drive. Most recreational spots are under 20 minutes away. I might stay here again because it’s so clean.

When I booked, I asked for dinner ideas because we’d be in Westport for our 41st wedding anniversary. They kindly sent a few suggestions, and then we arrived to find roses and a card wishing us a happy anniversary. Such a sweet surprise. The staff and management really went out of their way to make the stay special. The roadside motel is inviting, super clean, and nicely decorated, with all those little extras that make it feel homey. We can’t say enough good things about them or the motel.

We had a very quick stay and loved it. The room was adorable, clean, comfortable, and a little stylish, with what you need plus a few nice extras. Communication was great and digital check-in was easy. We walked down to the Pine Tree. The food and drinks were good, and the service was great.
