The room was comfortable, and it was easy for my two sons and me to settle into the double room. The staff were friendly. I’d lived in the area while this place was being built, and after all these years I expected it to be bad. It was my last resort, but it turned out much better than I thought. The downside is having to smoke in my car. There’s an elevator, a locked door, and a main entrance, but no smoking spot with a bench or ashtray. SS2212018 👌

I’ve been here a week, and the front desk refused to give me clean towels or linens. They told me to wash the dirty ones with my own money, which I wouldn’t mind if they were my personal items. At check-in I got one roll of toilet paper, and today they refused to provide another, saying each roll costs a dollar. The hallway signs say to ask the front desk for fresh towels and linens whenever needed. That claim is completely false.

We left because this didn’t feel like a place for kids. The room smelled funky, and they charge for a daily linen change. When my son accidentally spilled juice on the sheets, they said they were damaged and charged us $40.

The rooms are on the small side, dingy, and sparse, but the long-term rates are the best around. The staff are friendly and helpful, and do what they can to make the place a good value. The neighborhood is low income, so upscale dining and shopping aren’t available. You’ll find a good variety of other things in the area and among its people.
