The rooms have always been nice, and it’s easy to get to, but the food options are terrible now. Bring back the buffet. Ordering and waiting for food that isn’t very good just isn’t worth it. Fire restaurant is nice, though the rewards aren’t nearly as generous as they used to be. The player’s club used to offer much better free play and free rooms. Now it’s much harder to get a comped room unless you’re a huge player. I feel like I go often enough and spend enough that a free night every other month or so shouldn’t be so hard to get. I used to get free nights pretty often, but I can’t remember the last time now. Full price rooms cost like beach rooms, and even the discounted rates are too high for a standard room in the area. It keeps me from visiting the Atmore location much anymore. I’d probably stay longer and spend more on some days if I had somewhere to crash for a few hours instead of driving home.

Nice place, and the room was good, but there wasn’t any soap left, so I had to buy my own. The pillows are way too soft to sleep on. It’d be even nicer if you could win some money.

The food quality can be hit or miss, though I understand that demand may be part of it. The rooms are decent. It’s tough seeing people leave with a win, though I guess most are there for entertainment or relaxation anyway. Lucky retired folks spending thousands. Maybe I’ll win some of that money someday, lol. When you’re gambling, the devil on your shoulder always wins. Know what you’re playing. If your money doubles, go home. Choose a bet you can spin 100 times, and once you decide to leave, don’t sit back down or watch machines or other people win. Just head for the exit with your eyes down. I had a much-needed, relaxing stay and lots of fun. The room was very clean, and the river view was beautiful. I also liked that you can’t take the elevator up without a room at the casino. It made the place feel safe.
