Motel 6 Wheat Ridge, CO - West - Denver North

We arrived without a reservation but got a room easily, though they said it was their last one. It was fairly clean, with no sign of bugs. There was no fridge, we had to move the nightstands to reach the outlets, and the table couldn’t be used because it wasn’t attached to its center base. Someone also knocked on our door 30 minutes before checkout to ask if we were staying another night.

For an economy hotel, this is my favorite of the ones I’ve stayed at. Compared with luxury places that cost 2-3 times as much, it was accommodating. The room was clean, properly stocked, and everything worked, including the TV, lights, and A/C. It was quiet inside as far as other guests go, though being next to the highway means you sometimes hear a semi rumbling by and feel the building shake a little. Some furniture is dated, but they do their best to keep it clean.

The area is great for shopping and dining, and the housekeeping staff are excellent. The front desk team, especially Richard and Shannon, were also excellent and very helpful. The property is a little dated, but the rooms are usually in really good shape. The positives far outweigh the negatives. Highly recommend.

The rooms are really clean and the environment is peaceful. I booked for the first time last night after missing my bus, with little cash and in a desperate situation. From booking through the staff, they went above and beyond. I needed to rebook for the next few hours while waiting for another bus, and Richard at the front desk was incredibly patient and helped me as much as he could. I was surprised by how professional and helpful he and Christopher at the night desk were. Their service convinced me to sign up as a Motel 6 member. I truly recommend Motel 6, especially Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
