At least the bed was soft, but that barely counts as a positive after the rest of the stay. The shower still had hair from other guests in it, and the walls were peeling all over the room. We didn't see a housekeeper once all week, so we had to take out our own trash and keep going to the front desk for clean towels. I've never stayed in a more unsanitary “hotel.” This place fell short of basic cleanliness and hospitality.

My daughter was cold all night, and she said the bed was awful. In her words, she woke up frozen and with a broken spine. I woke with a sore throat and asthma after sleeping under sheets that smelled of smoke, with the AC fan turned up high to try to clear the heavy cigarette smell. We'd walked into a non-smoking room and immediately found it filled with smoke. I called the front desk, but was told there were no other rooms. When I pushed, the receptionist said she could try to move us to a sister hotel. It was already past midnight, so I said we'd deal with it. We sometimes pick budget hotels to make the travel money go further, but this place made me think we'd taken a wrong turn in life. We need a U-Turn in our decision making.

Everyone else is super nice, but the daytime manager on duty, ladonna, has a bad attitude. She's really hard to talk to and sounds like she's making fun of customers.
