The price was the one decent thing. Check-in service was bad, and we bought our own blankets and pillows because we didn’t trust the ones in the room. It smelled awful, so we bought candles too. After the toilet overflowed the first time we used it, maintenance told us to be careful with the flush handle. We ended up using the Taco Bell across the street for the bathroom throughout our three-day stay. Unless you’re broke and just need somewhere to sleep, go anywhere else.

I couldn’t stay the night and just had to get out. The room had a bothersome smell, and everything I saw was dirty: the floors, furniture, tub, and walls. It looked like it had never been cleaned. The sheets were dirty too, with hair, crumbs, bugs, and holes. The office had signs saying no refunds, so I didn’t even try to deal with that. I’m pretty sure there are bed bugs. Beware, don’t stay here.

I’d only planned to stay one night, but I liked the place enough to book two weeks. The room was clean and spacious, with new tile floors. The sheets were older, sure, but they weren’t dirty. Friendly staff, and there were pallets of materials out front for more updates, so they’re definitely putting money into the property. For the price and location, it’s a diamond in the rough. I’ve read the other reviews and don’t really get the fuss. Give it a chance.

We had to clean our own room. When we asked for clean towels, they told us to bring our towels downstairs to the office, and couldn’t say when we’d get them back. The next morning, our towels were left on the floor outside our door.
