Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sacramento

It's a bit of a drive, but I always have a fun time here and leave happy. The slots are fun, though it can get expensive, and there's something for everyone. Servers are quick and nice, and the table games were entertaining. Baccarat and pai gow were fun. Youyu was 🔥, the wonton soup and black pepper beef tenderloin were gas. Cool promotions and lots of incentives to come back. I will be back lol.

I had excellent seats for the show, which was great, and the venue was really nice, with several spots for drinks and snacks. The ushers were so helpful. We ate at Hard Rock Cafe and the service and food were excellent. We both got the BBQ pulled pork sandwich. It was a little sweet but delicious, and the French fries were the best I've ever had. The casino was fun too, with plenty of slots. I didn't hit a big one, but enjoyed trying! Every staff member I met was kind, patient, knowledgeable, and excellent.

This casino is way out in the boonies, and it's small, with few food choices, especially late at night. The matcha is delicious, though, and the staff are a plus. I just wish it weren't so hard to find waiters and waitresses. From what I've seen, people with higher-tier casino cards can reserve games and call for drink service. If you're poor, I guess you stay thirsty and can't hold a machine to play longer. They don't trust poorer or lesser people to return to a machine. The buffet is worth it on weekends, trust me. During the week, a lot of the options taste like reheated microwave food, and the seafood is frozen and heated up too. You can find really good dishes sometimes. Youyu is very overpriced and very mediocre. The gifts can be cool, and there's always some event or giveaway during the week. Mostly that's enjoyable if you can earn the credits, or aren't a brokie. As a brokie, I can vouch for that. The thing that really doesn't butter my biscuit is the free or bonus play system. I won a hand pay and spent hundreds, then got a measly five dollars in free play the next month. Even the worst casino, Cache Creek, doesn't do me dirty like that. Absolute insanity. Big spenders should know there's no incentive to persuade them to come back. That actually inspired me not to go, and that's why I'm writing this.

Hardrock is hands down my favorite place to visit, with great slot and table games, fun prizes and contests, and a new sports bar that's great for watching your favorite sports. But the highlight is Council Oaks Steakhouse and the most AMAZING bartender, DANNY! His knowledge of the food and mixology skills are top notch. The service is five stars, the cocktails are ten stars, and his personality is A++ (and ladies, Danny's quite easy on the eyes!! 🔥💪). I highly suggest his Old Fashion with his "twists" on the variations. He can make a cocktail for anyone, just tell him what you like and he'll make it better than you've ever had. You won't be sorry trying his amazing cocktails!
