HYATT house White Plains

The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, and our guests loved having the hotel bar as a place to meet for drinks between wedding events. Once we arrived, everything went smoothly. The on-site team, from the front desk to housekeeping, were wonderful with our guests and very helpful. Planning the wedding room block was more stressful than it needed to be because the coordinator was hard to reach and updates were difficult to get. Still, Hyatt House White Plains itself was a fantastic place to stay and a great home base for our wedding weekend.

The breakfasts were delicious, easily as good as brunch at a restaurant. Dasia also made a great first impression when we arrived at Hyatt House, and even upgraded our room. The next day, Cash was just as hospitable. We came up from GA for my son's grad school auditions. If he picks the school near White Plains, I'll stay at Hyatt House on every visit. Thanks for making the trip so comfortable!

For our visit to SUNY Purchase for my daughter's audition, Hyatt House White Plains was peaceful and cozy. The room was spacious and clean, with everything we needed to feel at home. This will be our go-to hotel when we're back to visit Purchase.

We picked this hotel over the holidays because it was near family, and being close to Wegmans was handy too. Noon checkout was a real perk. We didn't make it to breakfast because we were jet-lagged and the hours, 6:30-9am, were early for us, though I liked having the option. The room needed an update. The bed felt flimsy, the comforter was nearly empty and what little filling it had seemed hardened, so I slept without it and felt cold most nights. The pillows were oddly small. The kitchen and sitting area were useful, but without overhead lights the room was harder to use. We were told housekeeping came every two days, but our room wasn't cleaned once during our four-night stay. The toilet handle broke on day two; maintenance fixed it quickly, which I appreciated. We also ran out of toilet paper just before checkout, with no spare in the room. The front desk staff were kind and helpful, though other guests often took up so much of their time that lines formed. They handled it well, but watching the queues made me feel stressed for them. The location and staff were good; the room and housekeeping fell short.
