Dinner at the bar on our first night was terrific. We had pizza and drinks, and the bartenders were pleasant and keen to make it a good evening, even while covering both the dining and bar areas. That seemed like too much work for two people. We'd booked the king vista room through Expedia, but were given a much smaller room with a roof view and windows half blocked out. Leah at the reservation desk was wonderful and worked hard to make our visit pleasant. There were no comparable rooms available, so she upgraded us to a much nicer one. Thank you, Leah. We also booked a sleigh ride at the barn. The driver was very nice, but we were told it would last 45 minutes and it only went for 20. It was a nice ride, but at $40 each, $80 total for two people, we wished it had been longer.

The dining room wait staff took such good care of us that we started looking forward to seeing them again at meals. From the front desk to housekeeping, everyone we met did what they could to make us feel at home. We came to Mountain View Grand for three days of rest, and the view, service, ambiance, and accommodations all surpassed our expectations. We've recommended it to all our friends, and one couple is coming up in a few weeks. How lucky for them!

The hotel has direct access to snowmobile trails and is a short ride from corridor five. We spent a few midweek days there as a base for riding in the area. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the staff, especially the bartenders and waitresses, were fantastic. Food at the hotel restaurant was very good and reasonably priced. We didn't use the pool, but it looked very nice. There are plenty of other activities, including cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and curling. The property also has a small petting farm, great for kids, with llamas, alpacas, chickens, goats, and even turkeys. We'll definitely stay again.

We first started coming to MVG years ago, when our boys were in grade school, and even celebrated my husband's 50th Bday there. Last week we returned with our now adult children and had a blast. The boys went skiing, then we met for dinner, spent some time in the game room, and finished at the bar. The service was spot on, and the vibe is still great after the renovations. It's truly my favorite place!

We celebrated my husband's 40th birthday with a relaxing weekend at the resort. Our room was spacious, bright, clean, and cozy, and the card and chocolates were a nice touch. We felt spoiled and welcome, and we'll return. There are too many indoor and outdoor amenities to mention. We enjoyed the Harvest Tavern bar more than once. The drinks were delicious and the bartenders wonderful. The free breakfast was appreciated, and lunch and dinner were delicious too. The Towerspa services we booked were incredible. I'd highly recommend adding the private Tower Spa experience for even better views of the property and expansive White Mountains.
