Ramada by Wyndham Allentown/Bethlehem

For $180 during peak snowboard season, my wife and I felt we got great value, 10/10 on that part. The rooms were clean and modern, with the climate control you’d expect, and there are lovely views and plenty of parking. Breakfast is self-serve and pretty good, though the selection is limited: some bagels, eggs, sausage patties, pancakes and muffins. Getting in can be awkward because the hotel sits just off a busy traffic exit. Staff were also very sparse. We were told our room was ready, then waited a solid 10 minutes before anyone directed us to it. Those are small issues next to the price and overall value. Good hotel, 8/10, would go again.

We were in Allentown, PA for shows at Ag Hall, and the hotel was perfectly located. The area was well lit, which was a nice bonus for walking the dogs at any hour. Our room was spacious, quiet and very clean, and the bed was the most comfortable I’ve slept in for years. The lobby was full of festive holiday decorations, and the staff were welcoming and super friendly. Only small snag was the ice machine being out of order, but at 10 degrees outside we managed fine. Thanks for a terrific stay. We’ll see you again soon!

The beds were clean and the pillows were fine, and our family had no trouble with anything in the bathroom. The room did have a few problems: several outlets didn’t work, and although the fridge ran, it only kept things cool, not really cold. Turning into the lot from the south is blocked, so you have to maneuver along MacArthur to get in if you’re coming from that direction. That part isn’t the hotel’s fault. All in all, about 3 or maybe 3.5 stars.

A pleasant stay, with a clean, updated, quiet room and an outdoor pool. The staff and housekeeping were polite and helpful. We’d stay again if we’re in the area.
