My husband surprised me with a weekend cottage here. I thought he'd booked a regular hotel, but now I won't let him choose anywhere else in SB. It's a magical little secret garden near downtown Santa Barbara, tucked into an unassuming neighborhood with paths, flowers, roses, and cottages. We had a private hot tub on our deck, and a fresh croissant and fritatta breakfast was delivered to the door in the morning. Cute, comfortable, and clean.

Miss Dominique and Miss Florence were gracious hostesses, and the room and hot tub were clean and inviting. The grounds are peaceful, with a lovely place to eat the delicious breakfast included with the stay. Those croissants tasted like they were made by someone who really knows French pastry. It's a wonderful secret garden in Santa Barbara, within walking distance of the Mission and downtown State street. Everything we could want in a beautiful place. Thank you for a great visit!

The Oriole Suite's little porch jacuzzi and the breakfast delivered each morning were highlights of our anniversary weekend. We had quiche, croissants, fruit, juice, and coffee, all delicious. The hospitality was great, and the atmosphere felt cozy and charming. A few room details need updating, though: the bed should be replaced, the doors didn't close quite right, the furniture was worn, and there were some cracks in the walls. Still, we had a really nice two-night getaway.

We've been coming to the Secret Garden for years and just marked our 56th anniversary there. As always, it was quiet and pleasant, with excellent rooms and hospitality. We highly recommend staying here!

Secret Garden Inn made for a lovely stay, especially since we could easily walk to a coffee shop and to the mission. The rooms are older, but they've been cared for and have lots of character. We also appreciated that dogs are welcome, and the breakfast was delicious. Thanks for a wonderful place to stay!
