The 3 Dux

The apartment was clean, furnished well, and had a kitchen that was easy to cook in. We appreciated the parking and walked almost everywhere. We loved staying at the 3 Dux: it was central, yet private and quiet. We’d hoped to use the bikes, but ran out of time.

Rain fell for our whole visit, so it was nice to come back somewhere cozy that felt like home. My wife and I enjoyed the mama dux suite. It was very clean, and Debbie was friendly and helpful whenever we had questions or needed anything. I’d definitely recommend staying here in Santa Barbara. We’ll be back.

The Baby Dux unit was small, but had everything we needed for our lovely three-night visit. We especially enjoyed having bikes available, and the location was awesome. I’d stay here again if we return to the Santa Barbara area.

We loved the outdoor deck off the living room, with its beautiful views, and used the complimentary bikes, beach chairs, and umbrella. Nice blankets, artwork, and plants on the deck made the Papa Dux feel like home. My spouse and young adult daughter stayed in early August and found it spotlessly clean, comfortable, well designed, and ideally located. Debbie replied right away when we had questions. The four stars are because traffic from the street and Highway 101, two blocks away, disturbed me at night. I’m sensitive to noise. My family doesn’t like air-conditioning, and with the late summer weather being perfect, we wanted the windows open. The noise is outside the owner’s control, but I wanted to mention it fairly. All in all, we had a beautiful stay.
