Fairfield Inn & Suites Whitestown Indianapolis NW

We had a great stay while our soccer team was here for tournaments. The hotel is by a strip mall with just about everything for food, groceries, and pets. Breakfast was the usual continental spread. Housekeeping seemed to require a request: when we got back after being out, we’d only been given fresh towels. Still, it was a good stay.

The internet was down for two nights, and we lost power on the final night. The front desk said they already knew about the issue. During the holiday there wasn’t a manager available, and although one later promised compensation, only 10% of the promised credit was redeemed. There was no apology or follow-up. As a Bonvoy Titanium member, I’d asked for an upgrade and ended up on the first floor beside the ice and utility room. The walls were paper-thin, with deafening noise every few hours through the night. Worst hotel trip I’ve had in ten years. Avoid.

I haven’t stayed at a better Fairfield yet. The room was roomy and had new equipment that all worked, and the halls were bright and tidy. Coffee was available around the clock. There are places to eat and a waterhole within walking distance, just across from the hotel.

The hotel was clean and breakfast was okay, but the service was awful. Our WiFi didn’t work, and the front desk handed us a customer hotline number to call ourselves. We had to push them to help, and they clearly didn’t want to. Then they put a bunch of $$$ holds on our card. The front desk staff seemed clueless, and the manager went in circles when we tried to sort it out. We’ll never go back. Should’ve stayed at The Embassy Suites.
