Joe was extremely nice when I checked in, and the young woman I spoke with Tuesday was nice too. But after I checked out today, she told my sister I had a nasty attitude for complaining, even though I was in excruciating pain and could hardly stand or walk the day before. I was traveling for a medical procedure and had to take certain medications. I had an accident I couldn't help, and when I asked the front desk about a mattress protector, they said there was one. When housekeeping changed the linen, there wasn't. I asked if they could flip or turn the mattress, but they said there were no springs on the other side and they couldn't turn it. My sister suggested we go home, but I was in too much pain to leave. The office said to come pay for the damage on the second day 😆. The room was dirty. The floors were nasty, everything was dusty, the TV was filthy, the phone didn't work, and the bathroom floor was dirty. The tub was stained and had no handicap bar, so I couldn't shower because of my back disability. There was used hair conditioner by the soap at the sink, with Velcro stuck to it. Long black hairs were in the shower curtain and ice bucket. They only cleaned the room after we left, and I tried to clean it a little better than we found it. I worked for major hotels and had my own cleaning business. The girls wouldn't be working for me like this. I was told dogs over 25 lbs weren't allowed, but we saw a 40 lb dog. I have an ESA dog and was told the pet fee would be an extra $20, but they charged $40, saying it was for two nights. They use Booking. Com for discounts, but at check-in they charge $100 or more for rooms. Read the reviews. Never staying there again.

The outside looked badly neglected, with trash piled around and a generally worn-out feel. Inside, our room was adequate, reasonably clean, and had what we needed. This was the last night of a two-week road trip, and compared with the other hotels we stayed at, the price felt about $30 per night too high.

We needed somewhere to stay while construction was going on at our house, and I'd heard horror stories about this place for years. It turned out to be a really pleasant surprise. The staff were awesome, and the room was just right for my family and me.

We got in close to 3am, then housekeeping started banging on the door at 9:00am and kept knocking to rush us out before 10:15am, even though checkout was set for 11:00am. We were already annoyed at being hurried, and then they charged us another $35 for late checkout. We were fully out of the room 45minutes before checkout. We were moving 2 states away with a large Uhaul, a car trailer carrying a full size suv, and another car packed full, so we were still securing everything in the parking lot before getting on the interstate. We hadn't returned the key card yet. Housekeeping had finished with the room before the 11:0] checkout and told the front desk we'd left on time, but they still refused to refund the kate checkout fee.
