Econo Lodge near Wichita Falls Event Center

I'm on day three in room 120, and there haven't been any bites. The room smells and looks clean, and by my tools it's super clean with no bugs of any kind. I travel a lot and am what some people would call a clean freak, so I bring gloves, cleaning supplies, a UV light, and an iron to check for bedbugs and stains. The housekeeper is definitely getting a tip. The TV and Wi-Fi work, too. On the drive to Witcha Falls, five hours into our six-hour trip, I read the reviews and started crying. I was seriously thinking of turning around and searching for somewhere else to stay. My brother said we should look at the place first and decide then, and I'm glad I listened. Huge thanks to management, housekeeping, and the support staff. I've managed inns myself and know it's a challenge, so great job, guys, hold your heads high. We were so worn out from court that we only had the energy to make a mess before falling into bed. I'll pick up our things, and my sister will add pictures when she writes her review. I don't usually write reviews, but this one needed to be done.

The room and towels were clean, and the price felt right for what we got. There was an Arbys within walking distance. They even gave me burger king on my way out. Thanks so much, I appreciate it.

I stay here almost every week, and the area feels sketchy. Checkout is at 11am, but housekeeping knocks at 6am, 8am, 9am, and 10am to ask if you're leaving. When I'm out until 10pm or even midnight, I don't want to be harassed four hours before checkout. The TVs don't work because they weren't set up, parking is poor, and the elevator is broken. The pool is closed to people who aren't using it.

The room was beautiful and great. At the front desk, the gentleman was understanding about my SD and asked only the two questions he's legally allowed to ask. He didn't give me any trouble, just explained that any damage my boy caused would be charged to the card on file.
