The staff were nice, accommodating, and on time with transportation. Rooms are spacious, if a bit dated, and breakfast was decent with good coffee. The gym has room, but the equipment is older and neither the treadmill nor elliptical worked. This place allows dogs, and the lobby and rooms smell like dog. No offense, I love dogs, and three coworkers with me noticed it too. I also saw a coworker dump a cockroach out of a suitcase that had been on their second bed.

The managers and front desk were helpful and easy to deal with. The room was clean, bug-free, and reasonably quiet even though it was near the elevator. Wi-Fi and AC worked well, and the firm mattress and decent pillows were comfortable. There was a full-size fridge and microwave, a real plus. TV channels were limited, but I didn't mind. Snacks and vending items weren't marked up, which was nice, and the fitness room had plenty for a hotel workout. I paid $100 for my stay on 10-15-25 in room 211. If it cost the same next time, I'd stay here again.

The breakfast here was more than a basic continental spread, with bagels, oatmeal, eggs, sausage, and a juice bar. I was in Wichita Falls on business after staying at a badly run-down La Quinta in another town, and this Wichita Falls LaQuinta was well kept and really nice. The service people were kind, the guest computer worked, though it needs a wipe down before use, and the location is central to restaurants in an area where I felt safe. I'd definitely come back.

The elevator was out around 6:30 in the morning, just after we had taken a cart upstairs and loaded it with our things and our two dogs. We were leaving for the long drive to Montana, but the desk agent, who was sitting on the couches off to the side, kept insisting it worked. I said the call button only flashed briefly and the elevator wasn't running. He said he turns it off for 30 minutes, then checked his phone and told me I'd have to wait another 10 minutes. When I explained we needed to get on the road, he said there was nothing he could do. He never stood up and was rude and argumentative. Awful customer service. The third-floor guests around our room were slamming doors and running up and down the hall until after 11 pm, then started again around 5 am. The hotel should set quiet hours overnight and teach staff to be courteous instead of starting an argument. I'm sure that man is still sitting on that couch.
