OYO Hotel Wichita Falls - Downtown

My husband called about rates and was offered $45 a night. When he said he'd call back so he could discuss it with me, the man became hostile and asked who made decisions in our relationship and why he had to run it by me. He claimed the hotel was four-star and that we wouldn't find a better deal, but Expedia showed the same hotel at $39 a night. I do not recommend this place at all.

I stayed twice, from 12/13/25 to 12/19/25 and then 01/04/26 to 01/09/26, and they kept a $100 deposit both times. I've tried repeatedly to reach the front desk and customer service without luck. It's now 2/03/26 and neither deposit has been refunded. The internet service wasn't as described, and the heat didn't work. Don't stay here if you expect to get your deposit back.

I accidentally booked for tonight when I meant to book for tomorrow. The property told me they couldn't change the date because, according to them, my reservation wasn't in their system. I had the confirmation email and only wanted to move it to tomorrow, but the response was basically, “uhhhhhh, ok, no.” Awful hotel and even worse staff. Top-notch customer service from OYO, exactly what I expected. Don't stay here; they'll steal your money.

I stayed one night about two months ago and was charged twice. The front desk said I hadn't been double-charged and told me to wait for a bank statement. After that, whenever I was in Wichita Falls, I stayed at Econolodge every other weekend and liked that motel a lot more.
