The air filters in our room’s unit were clean, and the front desk attendant was very friendly when around. The pool was open, which was great for the kids to burn off energy after a long travel day. There’s a lot that needs maintenance, though. Rust is showing on the bathroom fixtures and tub drain, possibly because the roof exhaust fans aren’t working. The tub caulk has failed, and the floor base and hallway wallpaper are damaged throughout. Half the pool area lights were out, and rust on the doors, frames, and floor makes me think the ventilation there needs an inspection. Some pool chairs and the pool door hardware were broken. In the room, the office table leg and chair arms needed tightening, while the dresser didn’t work and its drawers were off the sliders. I hope management acts on these notes for future guests.

The pool was nice, and the rooms were clean. The bar and restaurant staff were great, too. But Tiffany at the front desk really made the stay. After the worst week of travel, her kindness, compassion, and professionalism were a huge relief. Thanks so much, Tiffany, and whoever raised you right! We travel a lot, and from now on I won’t stay anywhere but a Holiday Inn.

I’d read comments about the AC and hot water not working, but both were fine for us. The indoor pool was a nice perk in October, and the bathroom had Dove shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and lotion. I thought it was a great stay, and I’d come back here when I’m in Wichita, KS. The refundable fee was just $10 per day, compared with the $50-$100 refundable deposits many hotels charge after a stay.
2/10
The carpet was filthy, the old TV didn’t work, and the walls are thin enough that regular conversation next door carries into your room. It’s a third-rate dump in a run-down area. The Holiday Inn sign and Holiday Inn price don’t match the place. I’d choose a Motel 3 before ever staying here agin.
10/10
The staff were friendly and the room was comfortable. The bathroom was a little run down, but everything else was perfect, and I’d stay again. What more can you ask for?
