The dog potty area was so disgusting that we loaded our dogs into the car and drove to a nearby park instead. We would’ve stayed somewhere else if Priceline had let us get a refund. This Motel 6 experience was bad enough that I won’t stay at one again. They used to be a good choice. The room was filthy. The shower curtain was moldy and caked with pink soap scum, there was hair on the shower walls, and the floor left dirt on the towel I used to wipe up water. We bought our own towels because theirs were dingy and stained. The AC had no power, so we couldn’t use it. A neighbor smoked and tossed cigarettes onto the ground outside their room. Some guests seemed to live there permanently.

I slept badly because I couldn’t stop thinking about the sheets and mattress covers. The sheets were stained, and I’m not sure they’d been cleaned. The covers were badly stained too, with black hair on top. It was late, and my husband didn’t seem bothered, so I didn’t move rooms. Yuck.

I had to leave before my friend, so he went to check out, but they wouldn’t return the deposit to him. I tried video calling and spoke to the man at the desk myself. When I called back to say I’d be there shortly, he lied and said he’d already given my friend the deposit. Basically, they kept our $50. Don’t go unless you’re okay with losing your money.

We’ve been here for a little while as we work on getting back on our feet. The office staff are awesome, and the rooms are clean and affordable.

The price was good and the service was good, with friendly staff and clean rooms. The downside was the strong cigarette smell, even though the rooms are meant to be smoke-free.
