Days Inn by Wyndham Wichita West Near Airport

My fiancé and I came for our anniversary weekend, and it was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. I barely felt safe enough to sleep. The AC didn’t work, the TV cut out every 30 minutes, and the shower didn’t work either. The employee who helped us was a great guy. He apologized and tried to move us to another room, but its AC was broken too. We’d paid for two nights, but before sunrise we’d already booked a room at a better hotel. I don’t recommend this place to anyone.

The room was filthy, with dusty, dirty shelves and sheets that looked unwashed. There were holes in the bathroom ceiling that let you see inside it, and the bathroom leaked water onto the floor. It didn’t seem worth asking for another room. When I asked about a refund, the hotel denied it. I don’t know how they can operate like this.

This is disgusting. They overcharged me for the stay and now refuse to refund the payment through Booking.com, leaving that as the only option. The manager is dismissive and never in the office, so you have to call from a cell phone since there are no phones in the rooms. There were bugs and boogers on the wall. The room was disgusting, with a stained bed, a terrible smell, and broken furniture. I tried to leave and get a refund, but they refused, so I had to leave anyway. Run from this place.
