Staybridge Suites Wichita by IHG

We were welcomed by Yanni, who smiled and assured us we’d enjoy our stay. She was right. We even got toothbrushes from her, and chilled lemon water was available in the lobby. Laundry was free, though our spontaneous visit meant we didn’t need it. We took the bottled water she gave us past a lounge where men were relaxing in soft chairs and watching a football game on a huge TV. Nearby, some moms and little kids were making snacks and crafts, with an outdoor firepit visible beyond them. Our family from the hotel next door joined us there. I’d booked this place by accident while juggling the reservation and maps, and I’m glad I did. Our room had a small kitchenette with plates, pots, glasses, a large fridge and a dishwasher. It also came with large bottles of lotion, hand soap, shampoo and conditioner, plus a coat closet that closes. It’s a lovely spot for a small, intimate gathering. Yanni, we absolutely loved our stay.

The free breakfast was top tier, and I loved my two bedroom suite. I travel a lot and felt really relaxed here. Hotels nearby charge more and offer much less. This was a great hotel, and I’ll be back for sure.

We had a suite for less than the price of a cheap room, and breakfast was free. The room was clean, the service friendly, and the location worked perfectly for us. The third party I booked through put us in a smoking room. I could have switched, but chose to save money by staying in it.

I come to town every month and have stayed at this hotel for six years. The staff keep amazing me. They’re always helpful, greet you with a smile, and stay down to earth and professional. Customer service like this feels like something we need to bring back. You might think it’s all training, but I don’t think so. Each person is great in their own way. Britton seems to be the newest addition to the family, and another amazing hire. Well done, Staybridge, and well done, Britton!
