AA Heart of Wildwood Motels

We had a great stay and are already looking forward to coming back next year. The room was clean, and the staff quickly replaced our DVD player when it stopped working. You can still head up to the closed upstairs pool area for the amazing view. The hotel is right on the beach. My only room complaint is how tiny it was.

I'd give this place a two out of ten. The website pictures didn't match the complex, and the pool shown there wasn't open. We had no hot water several times, got no maid service on the first day, and were given just two washcloths for four people. The so-called fully stocked kitchen had only a few odds and ends, and although guests are asked to wash the dishes before leaving, there was nothing to wash them with. The pillows were stained and disgusting, and the pillow covers and mattress pads should have been replaced long ago. The tiny bathroom had no fan or ventilation, and its swollen door wouldn't close. Some outlets didn't work either.

The rooftop deck had a great view, and the staff were very nice. I brought my classic car and was worried about finding off-street parking, but had no trouble at all. There was plenty of parking while I was there, and the price was very fair.

We stayed five days over Labor Day Weekend, and the room was clean, cute, and a good size, with a little kitchen and good water pressure. We were in 3H across the street, so pay attention to which building you're booking. I believe there are four buildings altogether. We weren't right on the boardwalk, but it was only a few steps away, and the price was great. There were no issues with other guests, and it made me happy to see families spending time together around the BBQ grills. Parking was easy, with several lots available. The rooftop pool wasn't open, which I already knew before booking. There were three other pool options at the hotel, and the place I picked across the street had an open pool too. The view from the rooftop was still amazing, and we loved watching the sunrise from our balcony. Check-in staff were great. The gentleman explained everything clearly, and he was kind when he called to confirm the booking a week or two beforehand. Housekeeping were friendly too, cleaned our room daily, made the bed, and brought fresh towels.
