Budget Inn

The beds weren't too bad, but I wasn't pleased with the rest. The towels looked like stained mechanic rags. There was no shampoo, just one small bar of soap, and no coffee pot. Never again.

The manager was very nice and held a room for my husband and me during the recent storm in Florida. They were the only hotel with a vacancy. The hotel is near the main highway, with lots of food places nearby, but it's small and dingy. They didn't provide a full towel set, and the single hand towel was filthy. The sheets had holes, and the floor was sticky and dirty. Luckily, I had brought cleaning supplies.

For $102 a night, you'd think the room would at least be clean. It looked clean at first, but clearly hadn't been dusted around the lamps or along the room edges. There was a dirty rag in the shower and what looked like a booger on the wall beside the toilet. Disgusting. At 9:44, the manager banged on the window/door to tell us checkout was in 15 minutes, even though we were getting ready to leave. There wasn't a table, just a nightstand, so the microwave had to sit on the floor to reach an outlet. Really, the floor.

The staff were kind, warm, and friendly, and the rooms were okay for the price. They cleaned the room every day.
