The rooms are cozy, clean, and well kept. From check-in onward, the front desk team, general manager, and housekeeping crew were kind, hardworking, and professional. They go above and beyond every day to make sure guests are comfortable and cared for. If you want an extended stay in the Wilkes-Barre area where people treat you like family, this is the place. Thanks to management and the whole team for doing their best. Keep it up.

I worked nights, and it was very quiet, which helped a lot. The staff arranged for the night crew to service our rooms at different times around our sleep schedules. Management and staff were kind and helpful, and they took care of requests right away. I’d highly recommend it.

The employees were wonderful and did their best to make me comfortable. It’s a quiet, convenient place, though the facility is older. The kitchen was usable, but a utensil set costs extra. Laundry and lounge areas are sparse and dated, and there’s no exercise room, coffee, or breakfast service. I’d stay again.

This was the worst hotel stay of my life. It felt unsafe, run down, understaffed, and nothing like the hotel it looks and charges like. Overnight, there was no one watching the building: the front desk was shuttered from 10 p.m. to 9 a.m. Two of the three rear doors requiring a key were broken, and the third worked maybe 20% of the time. The front door, which should lock after 10 p.m. and require a key, was broken too, so anyone could come in. My room’s handle kept coming off, and its closing mechanism was broken. With nobody around overnight, you can imagine who might be coming and going. Only two or three employees were friendly: the two night guys and one housekeeper. If you’re bringing pets, beware. The manager said she doesn’t like smells and made me feel I could be kicked out because of the smell in my room. I spent $300 at Walmart on carpet cleaner supplies and new mops, cleaned all night, and did laundry twice. When I asked her to smell the room afterward, she said, “it still smells like dog”. The pet fee was over $800. My dogs were also covered in ticks, which they didn’t mention or seem to care about, and there was dog feces all over the property. Every few days someone would get it on their shoes. The manager also seemed unable to explain the charges. My reservation ended Friday, but she wanted $360-something for its last two nights, so I left early. They’re still trying to charge the rest to my bank even though I left the day before, and she couldn’t explain how two days cost that much. If you want hand towels, you have to pay for them. They only give a bar of soap, even though they have shampoo and other items, because they say they aren’t allowed to give them to guests due to inventory. There’s basically no WiFi, and they try to charge extra for “better internet” that doesn’t improve it. For a stay of a month or more, run far away. Upper management seems too cheap to fix and secure the building while it’s closed for 11 hours daily. Do yourself a favor and sleep in your car if you have to. I’d tell anyone to run. Truly unreal.
