Quality Inn Elyria

The room stayed spotless and orderly for my entire week at the Quality Inn Elyria. It’s an older place, but it’s been remodeled and clearly looked after, and everything seemed to be in very good shape. For the price, the quiet, restful stay and the value are hard to beat, especially without a lot of unnecessary frills. I travel a lot in the US and internationally, so I’ve seen all kinds of hotels, including some that cost much more and don’t keep up this standard. This one was a real hidden gem and exceeded what I expected. If you want somewhere clean, reliable, and reasonably priced in Elyria, I’d recommend it.

I reserved three rooms for my family, and we won’t be coming back. The place wasn’t very clean, there was no ice in the machines, and the pop machine had only one option. Do better.

The rooms felt glamorous and really upscale for what they cost, and the staff were polite and professional. There was indoor security and all the amenities. It beat my expectations, and I’m looking forward to coming back. 11/10.

The room itself was clean and quite comfortable, and if you only need an affordable place to sleep before moving on, I’d recommend staying here. The breakfast was a letdown, though. There weren’t enough bagels, the orange juice was very watery, and the waffle batter was so thin it needed stirring before going into the waffle maker. The cooked eggs were just warmed up and called an omelette, which didn’t appeal to me. I’m mostly directing these comments to the owner manager of this Quality Inn. There wasn’t a noticeable sign identifying it as a Quality Inn, and the side doors outside didn’t lock, so someone could come in unnoticed.
