Americas Best Value Inn Williams Grand Canyon

After five hotels in five days, this was the cleanest and most affordable one, and the location is hard to beat. Longhorn is just across the street for a cocktail and dinner. There was coffee and pastries for a light breakfast, and management had done a great job updating our room. The cleaning crew did their job, too. For the 15 hours you spend in a hotel room, we didn't need anything more. The price is hard to beat.

I picked this motel because of its good reviews, but it wasn't worth it. It's very old and seems to run on minimal costs. They charged an extra $10 per guest when we arrived without telling us beforehand. Since the reservation couldn't be canceled, we had no choice but to pay, so it cost more than the amount shown. The room felt shady, service was unpleasant, and the phone in our room was broken. There's no elevator, and the microwave is shared in the hallway. Leaving a microwave outdoors seemed dirty to me and raised food safety concerns. Breakfast was extremely basic, with just some donuts, toast, and coffee in shady dispensers and cheap plastic plates. If you're charging $10 for each extra guest, I'd expect services to match the price. Based on the price and service, I'd rather choose another place in Willams.

The outside doesn't look like much, but I had a great two-night stay while visiting the Grand Canyon. My room was comfortable and clean, and the bathroom looked very nice and modern. Staff were pleasant and checked me in promptly. Downtown Williams, with its stores and restaurants, is an easy walk away. I'd definitely stay here again.

There's plenty of parking, and the motel is tidy and very well kept. My room was super clean and good value for the money. The bathroom was roomy and convenient. The mattress was comfortable, though the bed itself wasn't very spacious. No complaints about the location. Williams is so small that staying anywhere works just fine.
