The staff were really friendly, including the woman at breakfast, and there was a good selection of food. The coffee was only okay. We liked the indoor pool, the showers were fine, and the regular beds were comfortable. The sofa bed wasn't, which was unfortunate for my 15-year-old. Our family of five, me, my husband, and our kids aged 15, 13, and 9, was traveling from Slidell to San Marcos for a June wedding. We stayed at several hotels along the way, and this was probably the dingiest one. We picked it because there weren't many choices and it had an indoor pool and free breakfast. The room had two queens and a sofa bed. The window unit was off and the window had been left open, so the room was hot and smelled bad when we arrived. The parking lot was empty at first, which made me a little nervous, though it filled by nighttime and there were lots of families at breakfast in the morning. I didn't feel unsafe, but parked where I could see our truck from the window. I might stay again if I had no other option.

The pool area was a real highlight. It was clean, and the bright windows and circulating fan kept the room from feeling stuffy or smelling strongly of chlorine. I liked that the lobby desk has a view into the pool area, too. The hot tub could use some plaster repair, though it didn't seem unsanitary. Our room was updated and very clean, with a lovely walk-in shower, a good shower head, soft water, and dispensers for shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The beds had clean, soft linens. Breakfast had plenty of choices, and the servers and front desk staff were hardworking, welcoming, and kind. My husband and I travel for both work and fun, and we'd come back to this Days Inn. It's a sweet little motel among the pines in Williams.

The staff were great, especially the man serving breakfast. The room itself was just okay, and for the price I expected better. The bathroom sink pipe was patched with duct tape, and soapy suds kept coming out. The air conditioner was extremely noisy and made it hard to sleep at times. There were no sheer curtains, so opening the curtains for daylight meant people could see inside. Someone accidentally looked through the window while I was changing a diaper. We don't plan to return.

Being able to walk into downtown Williams and browse the vintage shops was a big plus, and the place for kids with the roller coaster is nearby too. We stayed two nights while visiting the Grand Canyon, and the location was very convenient. The property is older, but it's well maintained and absolutely worth a stay. Everyone on staff was welcoming and very nice, and breakfast was really good. We had a wonderful visit, and I'll recommend it to friends and family.

We were grateful to find such a good place to stay. The room was clean, the sheets were lovely, breakfast was good, and all the staff were friendly. It cost less than the other places we saw on Bookings.com, and we have no complaints. Great value.
