The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we enjoyed the Jacuzzi. We were hoping for a fun Saturday night out, though, and the woman at the front desk couldn’t offer much help. When we asked what she’d suggest, she said there was nothing to do around here. She also didn’t know whether the hotel offered restaurant discounts or coupons and just pointed us to the magazines. As a young couple trying to have some fun and save money, we felt she didn’t help us make the most of our stay. That wasn’t what we expected from the hotel staff. Maybe it suits you if you’re after a quiet stay, but we wanted more.

We stayed for three nights and four days in May. Since we were checking in early, I understand that could have been part of the problem, but we were sent to several rooms that didn’t seem to have been cleaned by room service. Each time, the person checking us in said the room was ready. I’d consider this place for a night out or if you’ll be away all day, but not if you plan to spend much time at the hotel. Don’t pay extra for a Jacuzzi room: as far as I could tell, only one is updated, and it’s a smoking room. I think it was room 307.

The price was very good, so I guess I got what I paid for. The walls were thin and it was noisy, and there wasn’t a microwave in the facility. My wife couldn’t get the shower valve to work at all. It took both my hands to turn it on, and I had to push it off with my foot.

The staff are super friendly, but I haven’t tried the food yet. I’m in a smoking room, and the smoke smell is so bad I couldn’t sleep. I sprayed the room all night. I came in pretty late, so I didn’t ask for my money back because it was too late to go somewhere else. I can’t wait to leave tomorrow. Never again. These are stains on the comforter.
