The room felt a little dated, but it was comfortable and had lots of space. The kids had a great time, and the staff were especially kind and helpful with our girls. We also enjoyed the patio. The sheets and linens seemed fresh and clean, though the room itself could have used a deeper clean. We’d come back if the rates stayed reasonable.

We went for a 7-year-old’s birthday, and the kids had a blast with all the included activities. Bowling twice, mini golf three times, family VR with the dinosaur exhibit, laser tag five times, and hours of MagiQuest kept them busy. One MagiQuest feature was out of service, but it was fixed quickly, and the game had no glitches. The Food & Fun package felt like a good deal, and the complimentary wolf ears were a hit. They also joined yoga, arts and crafts, story time, and the dance party. The water park kept them occupied for hours, and the breakfast buffet had lots of choices, including chicken nuggets. The whole place was cleaner than we expected, from the floors and windows to the activity areas, water park, and room. The only thing that felt a little nickel-and-dimey was $19 a day for parking. We paid and moved on, but it seemed odd as an extra charge. We’ll be back when the next kid turns 7 :)

The indoor water park was fun, and I can see it working well as a day trip. For an overnight stay, though, the cost didn’t feel worth it, and we won’t be back. At check-in our room wasn’t ready, and a mistake meant the private cabana we’d reserved was given to someone else while our things were still stored there. Staff eventually sorted it out, but it put a damper on the day. Getting around was frustrating too, with slow, crowded elevators. Our room had uncomfortable beds, few amenities, an awkwardly placed TV, and a tiny bathroom. With the door opening inward, it felt like squeezing into a public restroom stall. Food around the resort was expensive and not very good, and the quality didn’t match the premium prices. I’m glad we crossed Great Wolf Lodge off our bucket list, but I’d choose a water park day pass over staying overnight.

In April it was 58 degrees outside, so having warm water indoors was great. The park had three big tube slides, a short lazy river, a wave pool, a jungle gym with two slides, a shallow toddler pool with slides, a four-foot pool with basketball hoops and lily pads, and a surf wave machine. Our kids, ages 5, 10, and 15, all found plenty to do. The water park closed at 8, leaving three hours for the kids to run up and down three floors looking for things with their Magic Quest wands before bed. Bring another $50 per kid for the wands, it’s more fun than you might expect. They absolutely loved it. We were there for an event and had catered hotel meals in conference rooms three or four times, and the food was outstanding. Our economy room had a balcony facing the parking lot. The bathroom was small, but the beds were very comfortable, and there was a pullout couch, microwave, and mini fridge.

We came as a group of 10 for a day pass on 2/7/26, and it felt like the building had been overbooked. People were packed into nearly every area, with not enough seating for guests checking in. If they’re selling day passes as well as hosting overnight guests, the common spaces need to handle the extra crowd. Making people stand around in an organized line wasn’t reasonable. We bought the $150 Wolf Pack pass but couldn’t use it because waits for laser tag, bowling, and the other activities were over an hour and a half. We asked for a refund and were told we’d get one. When we called on 2/9/26, they said they would take care of it now, which wasn’t a great experience. The pool water smelled extremely bad, the cold water temperature was unexpected, and the locker rooms and restrooms were overcrowded. Day passes put a strain on the place, so they need to expand for the extra guests. Charging for parking also felt completely unnecessary. Where else are families supposed to park?
