The property is close to all the historic places we planned to see, and we enjoyed wandering its rock-lined trail. Coffee on the porch while watching squirrels and birds was wonderfully relaxing. Inside, our room was spacious, nicely decorated, and comfortable. The breakfasts were extravagant, and the hospitality was lovely. Debbie and her family were so sweet and made us feel at home. We also enjoyed the jacuzzi and massage chair. I highly recommend this B&B.

We stayed in the 'Tranquility' room for a weekend, and it was beautifully put together, with thoughtful touches like a towel warmer, massage chair, and luxurious bath. Debbie and Cris were wonderful hosts. The patio was a lovely spot to read, lounge, or have coffee, and Debbie's gourmet breakfast was a delicious feast. Serendipity Inn was spotless, comfortable, and beautiful. We had an amazing time and would absolutely recommend the experience. :)

We came to Serendipity for a few quiet days together after the whirlwind of getting ready for our wedding. The cozy room, beautiful grounds, and gourmet breakfasts served in bed made the stay feel special from start to finish. The hospitality was warm, and we’ll cherish those memories for a long time.

We picked this place for our honeymoon because it was an easy drive from D.C., and the breakfast sounded great for two foodies. It lived up to that, and the baked treats included with our Romance package were wonderful too. The bed was so comfortable we spent more time in it than planned, though we also made time for the bubble bath, sunroom, and hot tub. Debbie was easy to reach and attentive to what we needed. She even arranged our dinner and winery reservations, which made the trip less stressful. It was a dream of a honeymoon, and we can’t wait to return.

We were new to staying at an inn and ended up loving the whole experience. When our Busch Gardens plan fell through because we’d missed their fall hours, the owner kindly suggested lots of other things to do. There are plenty of attractions nearby, including Jamestown, Colonial Williamsburg, and York Park, all within about 30 minutes. The grounds are beautiful, with walking trails through around 25 acres of Virginia forest. We got to unwind on the screened porch among monarch butterflies while the owner was raising and releasing them. Our room was gorgeous, the breakfasts were amazing, and the hospitality was incredible. We had a wonderful three nights at serendipity. And that massage chair was amazing!
