Wyndham Garden Williamsburg Busch Gardens Area

We stopped here to rest after Busche Garden, and the place was very clean, from the hotel itself to the rooms. Free parking was a nice bonus, and our room had what we needed with everything working properly. They also serve breakfast. We only stayed one night, but the employees who checked us in and out were welcoming and kind. Cleanliness really matters to us, and we found everything clean. We'd stay again if we're in the area.

The breakfast was the standout for my daughter, who called it the best hotel breakfast she's ever had. There were pancakes, sausage, hashbrowns, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, and coffee and tea. It was really good, and the hotel's close to Busch Gardens, so we'd stay again for the breakfast and location. The room looked nice and clean, though some of the update details were missed: the bathroom vent was old, yellowed, and dirty, and the caulking was missing or messy. The afternoon and evening front desk attendant was patient, helpful, and went out of her way to help with a couple of things.

We'd been approved for an early check-in between noon and 1 p.m., but when we arrived at 1:45 the room was hot and the bed had no sheets or blankets. There weren't any towels either. The front desk phone went unanswered, so I went down to report it. The person there gave me sheets and a comforter and said housekeeping could make the bed, but it would take a while. I was already tired and frustrated, so we decided to leave. My husband went to ask for a refund, and the staff were rude and smart with him. We found somewhere else to stay. I'll never stay there again.

There were plenty of places to eat nearby, and breakfast had a good spread, from pancakes, eggs, and sausage to cereal, bagels, yogurt, and hash browns. Our room was clean, the price was reasonable for the accommodations, and the location worked well for our Busch Gardens trip. Target is right across the street, though getting there takes a U-turn since you can't cross straight over. We'd stay here again.
