The young guy at the front desk was rude, and had no right to speak to my kids that way. Our room on the 4th floor over Memorial Weekend was clean, and the cleaning staff did a great job. We’d been told the room had a fridge, but ours didn’t.

We booked in December for a June race, then heard in April that the hotel was cancelling our reservation because it had a larger contract it wanted to honor. They offered neither a free night nor another hotel as compensation. That’s poor business, and it may mean we skip the race. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The bed was comfortable, and the room had a mini-fridge, coffeemaker, free Wi-Fi, and cable. It’s also close to the hatfield/Mccoy trails. There wasn’t breakfast service, though, and the interior needs updating.

The bed was clean, which was the one good thing. The room itself was dirty, and the furniture was so stained that we didn’t want to sit on it.

The shower wouldn’t drain, and even after we reported it they charged us full price. The hallways also felt dark and weird.
