Econo Lodge East

When our original booking fell through close to 11 p.m. after a drive of almost two hours, this Econo Lodge really came through for us. The front desk attendant was quick and friendly, got us settled, and even suggested a local pizza place. The room was clean and in good shape, with a fun little nod to kitschy MCM decor. Everything worked as it should. The bed wasn't anything special, but it wasn't noisy and I slept well enough. No fan in the bathroom bothered me a bit, though the water was genuinely hot and the tub drained well, both important to me. The office and common area were neat, with lots of seating, a public restroom, washer and dryer, a fireplace, and plants one of the employees had brought in. The setting isn't scenic, but it caused us no problems and is near everything, with a Sheetz just across the parking lot. They offer a small free breakfast in the common area, but we didn't try it, so I can't comment on it. For the price, it was a good stay and a much-needed last-minute fix.

The rates are very reasonable, and the staff were polite and nice. Our room was fairly clean. When our key stopped working, they sorted it out right away.

I’d been staying there since October 2024, but eventually couldn’t afford it and left. They then decided to kick me off the property. I called to ask why, but Manager Amy couldn’t be bothered to return my call and explain. The hotel is a joke. I’d only had one issue during my whole stay, and they took care of it ASAP.

I asked about breakfast and was told they had muffins and pastries. When I asked if there was a hot breakfast, the answer was no. I didn't pick this place, Clarence did.
