Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Williamsport

The rooms are ordinary hotel rooms, nothing fancy, but they do the job. What made the stay for my family was the staff. We were there for four days for a funeral, and Lynn in the kitchen and Rebecca in housekeeping were top tier. They were caring, made sure we had what we needed, and really lifted my spirits. The staff are friendly and helpful, and I’ll come back because of them.

The breakfast wasn't great, and it put us off to hear a front desk lady being so unhelpful to an older couple with a dog. We asked for extra pillows and a blanket because it was cold and the pillows weren't very good, but they never arrived.

Check-in and checkout were easy, and the rooms were okay. There were a few minor hassles because of the construction, but nothing too bad. The coffee in the room was all dark roast, which gives me migraines. I usually look for light roast so I can enjoy my morning cup.

The room wasn't ready when my wife, daughter, and I arrived, so we waited another 15-20 minutes. No big deal, and the manager dealt with it promptly. The room looked and smelled clean, the bathroom had the supplies we needed, and the AC worked very well. The step into the tub was a little higher than usual, but nothing serious. Based on our stay, everything else was fine, and we'd stay again if the need came up.
